About us
Two products. One mission: make every EV kilometre count.
Telemiq is a Canadian EV platform built on a simple observation: your car and your charger already know everything — how far you drove, how efficiently you charged, how much carbon you saved. We turn that data into money, insight, and proof.
Why “Telemiq”?
The name is a compression of what we do, in two parts:
from Telematics + Telecommunications
Data captured remotely from moving vehicles — the science your insurer calls telematics, and the technology that lets a charger in your garage talk to the grid.
from Metric + Intelligence
Every kilometre and every kilowatt-hour becomes a measurable, verifiable number. Not estimates — evidence.
Telematics, made smart — say it fast and that's what you get: Telemiq. Remote vehicle data, turned into precise, trustworthy metrics.
One platform, two products
They run on shared infrastructure but stay strictly separate — different accounts, different data, different dashboards.

Telemiq Fleet API
A developer platform for insurance and fleet companies: vehicle-native telematics with precise 30-second sampling, trip segmentation, UBI safety and eco scoring, DriveCoins, and webhooks — delivered by API, not dongles or phone apps.

How we operate
- Consent first. Driving data is captured only after an explicit opt-in, visible in member settings, revocable in two clicks — with immediate effect.
- The car is the sensor. No dongles, no phone apps draining battery. Vehicle-native data at streaming cadence.
- Separation by design. Rewards data never mixes with Fleet API data. Different ledgers, different logins, different privacy planes.
- Canadian, compliant. Toronto-based, operating under Canadian carbon-credit rules (CFR) and privacy law.
