EV Rewards Comparison — 2026
Every program that pays you to charge at home, side by side: rate per kWh, hardware requirements, and how you get paid. Rates below are each operator's own published numbers as of October 2026 — they change, so always confirm on the operator's site.
Only Telemiq is car-native: rewards verified from your vehicle's own data — any charger you already own (even a wall outlet), any supported EV brand, no deposit, no invitation. Charger-based programs only pay for kWh their hardware meters.
Telemiq tiered: 19,200 pts ≈ C$192 · ChargeLab flat 10¢: C$360 · SWTCH (post-1,500 kWh avg): ~C$355 · RoadToEV: C$360 in wallet credit. At higher volumes the tier gap widens — run your own numbers on the rewards calculator.
Published rates range from 3¢ to about 21¢ per kWh depending on program and tier. Telemiq tops out at 21.75 pts/kWh (21.75¢/kWh value) at the highest annual tier with referral multiplier, with no charger purchase required. Flat-rate programs like ChargeLab (10¢/kWh) are simpler but cap your ceiling and require specific smart-charger hardware.
Not with Telemiq — rewards are verified from your vehicle's own charging data (Tesla Fleet API and OEM connect APIs), so any charger works, including a standard 120V wall outlet. Most other Canadian programs pay only for kWh metered by their own or approved smart chargers, which means a $300–900 hardware purchase or deposit.
Yes — Telemiq Rewards is Canada-wide, with province pages for Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta. Any Canadian resident with a supported EV can join.
Under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR), verified residential EV charging generates compliance credits that fuel suppliers must buy. Charging network operators like Telemiq aggregate verified charging data, monetize the credits, and share revenue with drivers.
